Welcome to the Sew Fun Cruise
sponsored by Shawn's Sewing Center

The Sew Fun Cruise will be here before you know it!
Meet our team of experts,
hand-picked especially for you.
This will be an experience
of a lifetime!
This specialty cruise is a wonderful opportunity to expand your knowledge and expertise in the world of fabric arts as you learn from a top leader in the industry, ANGELA WOLF.

Angela is one of the most sought after conference speakers in America. This is your opportunity to meet her and learn from the master.

Tina Bartelmay is considered by many to be the top instructor for Brother. She began her sewing-crafting-embroidery journey as a young child, watching and then helping her grandmother. She learned to make patterns from existing clothes, to make clothing for herself and her family, and then home decor and quilting projects for herself and others.
Machine embroidery was added to her tool kit in the late 1990s to enhance her creative options—and because it is just so much fun.
Her collection has grown to include an assortment of Brother single
and multi-needle machines to complete her projects with ease.
She added the Scan n Cut to her studio in 2014, to expand into vinyl and other materials.
Now, pretty much everything that is not moving is fair game for some sort of embellishment
or upcycling. After retiring from a career in healthcare, Tina is thrilled to have her dream job
focused on being creative and making things.
Barb Mikolajczyk, is an authorized Brother instructor and is very much in demand in the world of sewing and fabric arts. Her first competition entry was an A-line skirt in Jr. High. From that point on she was hooked.

Barb has been sewing over fifty years. Her favorite place to sew is in her basement studio. However, she loves interacting with others who share her passion for sewing at conferences and conventions all across the country.

Phyllis Batz, is the very creative mind at Shawn's Sewing Center.
She has been sewing and quilting ever since she was a little girl.
Sewing is an art that was passed down in her family. She observed
her mother for years before taking the plunge at age eleven
and teaching herself to sew.

Phyllis loves teaching beginners. Even though she is a master seamstress
and very proficient in fabric arts, she displays patience and kindness
to those who are wanting to learn.
